Time for a change?
Maybe.

I'm thinking of having a new blog. Mostly because I got tired of black. Like a friend said, black has connotations of unhappiness etc.
Tried changing my layout, but my posts are light grey, and that isn't really visible in a white background. White is simlpe and neat. And so I thought of having a new blog instead.

But I'll lose followers... And the skin I liked and spent hours editing turned out to not allow comments. ==...

Any ideas what to do now? *points to cbox*

Fake Silence

Remember how a hug works?

A friend wraps her arms around you, holding on so tight, imagining that there's no way anyone, anything can hurt you if she held on tight enough. Also imagining that if she stopped you from seeing anything but her, she'd block out pain too, and that if you can't see anything, nothing else exists.

You know it's not true, you know pain never goes away just like this. You know because you tried it before.

But still,you let yourself believe her, just for that one moment.

No one speaks for a long time, but through silent tears, you realize, even when there's no sound, no noise at all, you heard someone say, 'I love you.'

And all because of one very simple, quiet little hug, you learn that silence's fake..

p/s I suppose my attempt at trying to write like Jodi Picoult isn't that bad?

I was sorting out the many folders I have on this computer, to hopefully make everything neater,
so that I don't have to go 'treasure hunting' every time I want to find something.

Unexpectedly, I came across one whole folder of long lost photos, and suddenly,
everything we shared came back to me, in a rush,
and disappeared, so fast, like a flash flood.

I can't breathe.

Like I'm standing on top of the mountain.

There is no air.

Every breath I take in,

Gets used up,

Faster than I can inhale.

It’s morning.

To focus on breathing.

I am a leader, not a follower.

The No Apologies workshop ended tonight. For one whole morning, afternoon and night, I’ve been tired out, physically, and emotionally. Too much thinking had been going on in my mind for the last twenty-four hours. I thought I would feel really good after the workshop. I really, really, really thought I would feel good. Because, I know I came so I don’t have to apologize.

And, sure, I did feel good. Until the “PURITY” session began.

The main hall was filled with parents. Daddies and Mummies, together with their children, they’re family. It’s a huge family reunion. We were going to sign a pledge as a commitment to ourselves, and all the people around us to stay pure before the big day. The parents were to witness their children sign the pledge.

And, you know what? Auntie Vivienne was my witness. Why? Mummy’s in KL, Daddy can’t come.

So, I got an adviser as my witness. Lucky me. After that, parents were asked to help their children put on their necklace with the purity ring. And, I sit in between two very sweet families where the mummy and daddy put on the necklace for their sons and daughters.

This feels so sad. It’s the first big decision I’m making. It’s the first pledge I ever signed in my whole entire life, and I got Auntie Vivienne to witness for me. So lucky.

Cyrus was the only one who asked what happened. I want to thank him. Yea, you guessed right. Sand got into my eyes. Thank you for asking. I’m okay now.

And, LiNi, I don't know for sure if you will see this, but, thank you for putting your hand on my shoulder the whole time I was busy getting sand out of my eyes. It felt warm. Really.

I know I’m asking for too much, but, you know, it’s invading my mind, or maybe, something of that sort. It just feels weird and very uncomfortable when you stand in a crowd of sweet families. You have one yourself, just that they’re not here. Not fun. At all.

Well, all’s over now, I learnt a lot, and I have my ring and necklace on my neck right now. I’m happy.

Thank you Auntie Vivienne for witnessing me signing the pledge. Thank you Auntie Alicia and Uncle KC for spending time and effort for this workshop.

It’s cool, because I do what the trend does not!

In case you might be reading this Sharon, I'm sorry for everything. Really, I am. I need to take care of some things. One, for example, how to use the safe mode in a very effective way so that it doesn't jam halfway when I typed half a page of things. The p/word was changed before mommy went to KL, you see. Hard to explain. Things are not too good here, but not that bad either. I'll stay safe and happy. Trust me. And, please, take care too.

I'm holding tight onto the one and only hope,
Only as thin and fragile as a strand of hair,

The Pail and The Sponge

I'm lost in my world.
The very same one I created, and hated.

That moment,
A dangerous thought crossed my mind.

I thought of going back to time,
To the very beginning,
When things were just perfect,
When the water didn't overflow and soak the sponge beside the pail.

I would swear to you that the thought didn't stay in my head for more than a fraction of a second.

But, the side effects went on long after that.

Now, every minute my eyes were closed,
I see nothing but that.

The damn pail doesn't know what he is doing to the sponge.
And the sponge was stupid enough to not run.

I'm useless enough to sit back and watch the pail and the sponge,
Both being drowned by the water.

Promises are lies.
Forevers don't last.

Yea, the title is Untitled. Can't seem to think of a much more suitable one.

Okay, people, this is my second post today. *I'm hinting that you should read the first one. I admit, I am bored. And, that makes me think of things i shouldn't, so, I've got to make myself do something.

So, I updated my blog list. I linked a lot of people, who weren't here before... I would want to put it in the old format, where i can see who updated what to their blogs, but alas, this site doesn't like me, and so, it doesn't allow me to do that. Yea, it's being "berat sebelah".

That's why, I put it in this format, where everyone is lining up according to alphabetical order.

If I missed out anybody, just scold me or whatever. And, I will link you back.

End of post. Back to staring at the ceilings.

I am teddy.
I live in the toyshop.
One day, a little boy came to the shop, and fell in love with me.
He hugged me tight, and asked his mom to let him have me.
His mom said no, and they went to see aeroplanes.
Then, he fell in love with the planes, and begged for one.
Again, his mom said no.
So, he ran back to me, held me up, and said to his mom,
" If you won't buy me the plane, then I want this teddy bear!!"
